Midd-West High School September 2024 Students of the Month

HPThe 8th grade Student of the Month for September is Hope Penepacker. She is the daughter of Nicole Smith of Beaver Springs and Barry Penepacker, Sr of Pequea. Hope was chosen as the Student of the Month because of her strong work ethic and willingness to help other students. In school, she participates in FFA. Outside of school, Hope enjoys taking care of her chickens, fish, dog, and cats. In the future, Hope plans to go to college to be a neurosurgeon.

asAndrew Snook is the 9th grade Student of the Month for September. He is the son of Jennifer Montgomery and Roger Snook of Beaver Springs. His school activities include Marching Band, Mini Band, Concert Band, DECA, Quiz Bowl, Class Congress, E-Sports, and Baseball. In his free time, he enjoys biking, camping, traveling, kayaking, riding go-kart as well as watching his favorite racing team, McLaren Formula 1 Team. Andrew is active in Boy Scouts and has achieved the Life Rank Award. After graduation, he plans to study Sports Marketing in college. Andrew was selected as the Student of the Month because he is an outstanding freshman who is taking honors-level accelerated courses in all core content areas while maintaining a positive attitude and being helpful and supportive to others.

NDThe 10th grade Student of the Month for September is Nora DeLong. She is the daughter of Dennis and Allison DeLong of Middleburg. Nora was selected as the Student of the Month because she is creative and willing to pitch in when needed. She doesn’t let fear hold her back from being a vocal leader on the court and in the classroom. Nora’s school activities include Student Council, Yearbook, Volleyball, Basketball, and Dream Learn Pitch. Outside of school, she enjoys attending the women’s Bible study at Bible Baptist Church in Liverpool and hanging out with friends. After graduation, Nora is planning to attend college for Pre-Med before entering the healthcare field.

EWEmma Wagner is the 11th grade Student of the Month for September. She is the daughter of Jason and Erica Wagner of Beavertown. In school, Emma participates in National Honor Society and Class Congress. In addition, she serves as the Reporter for Student Council and helps with the morning announcements. Emma is a three-sport athlete playing Field Hockey, Basketball, and Softball. She enjoys playing travel softball, attending youth group, and reading. In the future, Emma is planning to attend college to become a Pediatric PA. Emma was chosen as the Student of the Month because she is a respectful student who is willing to help when needed.

WSThe 12th grade Student of the Month for September is William Stover. He is the son of Donald and Stephanie Stover of Middleburg. William was chosen as the Student of the Month because he is a conscientious, responsible, hard-working, and reliable student. His school activities include National Honor Society, Spanish Club, and Track and Field. William serves in leadership roles as the captain of the Boys Soccer team and secretary for Student Council. In his free time, he enjoys soccer, running, lifting, and playing games with family and friends. After graduation, William is planning to further his education by attending college to study Civil Engineering.
